OCEAN CITY — The DuBois estate, the stately mansion off
Battersea Road, survived the Great Depression but could not weather
the recent recession.
Donald DuBois made the hard decision this year to demolish the
home his grandmother designed and his grandfather built in 1924.
The wrecking crews converted the property to a bare lot last week
