A CHATEAU style mansion – built by a baronet as a summer house for his wife – has been sold for in the region of £2m to a luxury tourism developer.
The magnificent Grade II* listed Plas Rhianfa on the banks of the Menai Strait was originally placed on the market for £3.25m in 2008. But the credit crunch and property slump saw more than £1.25m knocked off the asking price.
