Archaeologists are uncovering the foundations of a 16th century mansion.
Volunteers from the Friends of Honeywood Museum have been leading the excavation of Oaks Mansion in Oaks Park.
The home most famously belonged to the 12th Earl of Derby in the 18th and 19th century.
