WARREN, Ohio – After nearly 80 years, Warren may be vacating it’s historic city hall.
The former mansion of businessman Henry Perkins, on Mahoning Avenue, has served as city hall since 1934. The building itself is 140 years old.
Warren council will consider a proposal to construct a new building that would be better suited to consolidate several offices and save the city money.
The historic mansion would be maintained for other uses such as a public hall.
