The £700,000 restoration of a 12th Century Surrey castle which reopened last year is up for a design award.
Farnham Castle was described as “one of the most important historical sites in the South” by the Heritage Lottery Fund who gave a grant for the renovations.
The major feature of the building work was the creation of an oak framed pavilion, staircase and illuminated viewing platform.
