It is a stately home once worth £1m. But despite having its reserve price slashed to an incredible £60,000, this grand mansion in Carrickfergus remains on the market.

The 10,000 square foot property was the biggest bargain on offer at Tuesday’s BRG Gibson Auction. Once worth £1m, the reserve price was listed at £100,000.
