Why Windsor Castle will be the Queen’s final headquarters

Both Prince Philip and The Queen are great-great-grandchildren of Queen Victoria and their walkabout on Thursday will see them stopping at their famous forebear’s statue on Castle Hill.  Within the visual imagery of this unique royal birthday we are being reminded that the British monarchy is a long-running business – and in it for the duration.
