Visitors to Carrickfergus can enjoy a range of medieval-themed entertainment as the Bruce Festival kicks off today (Saturday).
To commemorate the seizing of Carrickfergus Castle by Edward Bruce in 1316, the Ulster-Scots Agency and Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, in partnership with the Department of Communities, are holding the event on this weekend (June 4-5).
