Castle Square in the centre of Swansea could soon be transformed into a “city park”.
A Swansea council spokesman said: “Nestled between the city’s historic castle and Swansea’s main shopping streets, Castle Square will have a key role as an iconic area right at the heart of a regenerated city centre.”
Swansea council leader Rob Stewart has labelled Castle Square as it is now as “tired”.
