Arrows hidden at North East’s historic sites mark 950th anniversary of Battle of Hastings – Chronicle Live

It’s 950 years since King Harold took one in the eye at the Battle of Hastings in 1066.

And to mark the anniversary, English Heritage has hidden special arrows at a dozen of its sites in the North East, with prizes for the finders.
