There are no concrete
plans for Sanem Castle, and renovations will have to wait, stated
Luxembourg Finance Minister Pierre Gramegna when questioned in
Parliament about the now vacant building.
The castle has been
owned by the state since 1972 and was used for many years as a
children’s home. Recent occupant, “Centre virtuel de la
connaissance sur l’Europe” (CVCE), recently vacated the building, and
now the historic castle stands empty.
