The largest wooden playground in the country is opening at Lowther Castle in Penrith on Tuesday 2nd August, one week today.
The hand-built playground is made from 11 miles of sustainably sourced timber. It’s the brainchild of Jim Lowther, who designed the tree canopy to echo the castle’s own structure.
