John Lennon’s spectacular former mansion in Weybridge on the market for £9 million – Get Surrey

This plush Weybridge home John Lennon bought for £20,000 has been put on the market for almost £9 million.

Lennon moved to Kenwood in 1964 while The Beatles were the biggest band on the planet.

It was on the grand estate in St George’s Hill where the musician wrote songs like ‘Ticket to Ride’ and ‘I am the Walrus’.

The 12,000 sq/ft mansion , more than 12 times the size of the average UK home, has six-bedrooms, six reception rooms and six bathrooms.
