Royal Holloway guide

Founded as a women-only college in 1879 by Thomas Holloway, the college officially became part of the University of London in 1900 and started to admit male students in 1946. In 1985, it merged with Bedford College. The institution is based in Egham, Surrey, and has a total of 19 academic departments.
