Nottingham Castle’s transformation has taken a significant step forward as the second round of the funding bid is submitted to the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Earlier this year, plans were put in for the £24 million revamp of the tourist attraction, with the aim of to establishing the castle as a world-class visitor centre.
Money from the National Lottery-based heritage fund is hoped to be the largest financial contributor to the project.
