Nearly two million people visited Scottish tourist attractions this summer – and Edinburgh Castle was the most popular.
The historic castle played host to 755,001 visitors between April and July this year. They made up part of the 1.96 million visitors who went to 77 Historic Scotland attractions nationwide during the four-month period.
