A PUBLIC appeal has been launched to help save one of Wales’ great castles.
More than £100,000 is urgently needed to prevent irreparable damage to the 13th century castle at Ruthin which, according to Cadw, the body responsible for historic buildings in Wales, is the only one of the great Welsh castles not to have been conserved or made subject of any academic study.
