Many people might dream of living in a castle surrounded by 16,000 acres of land but for the Duchess of Rutland, for whom such a dream is a reality, it is far from easy.
Emma Manners, who gained her title and the home of Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire when she married David, the Duke of Rutland, 24 years ago, has admitted it is a constant struggle to keep the 1,000-year-old property going.
