More than half of Britons aspire to visit some of the world’s creepiest landmarks – and they don’t have to look far for the most favoured destinations.
The Tower of London clinched top spot in the poll and four of the top 13 places were close to home.
It was followed by Transylvania, Romania, and Edinburgh Castle.
Other British entries included the village of Pluckley, England, in fifth and Highgate Cemetery, London, in sixth.
