BORINDGON Hall in Plymouth has become Devon’s second five star hotel.
The 16th Century country manor hotel, in Plympton, has been awarded the top-rung status by motoring organisation the AA. The privately-owned hotel, was already the highest rated establishment in Plymouth.
The only other five-star hotel in Devon is Bovey Castle, in Moretonhampstead.
It means that Plymouth has a five star hotel and Torbay does not.
