The Silversmithing Museum of Ioannina was inaugurated on Saturday to showcase the rich work of Greek silversmiths since the 15th century.

President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos inaugurated the museum, which is the ninth museum established by the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation, an organization that promotes traditional Greek crafts.

Carbisdale Castle is sold and will become private residence | Northern Times | News

CARBISDALE Castle has been sold to a privately owned investment company for an undisclosed sum, it was announced today.

The Scottish Youth Hostel Association (SYHA), who ran the castle as a youth hostel until it closed four years ago, said it had been sold to FCFM Group.
