Evanston aldermen Monday are scheduled to again try to figure out what to do with the city-owned Harley Clarke mansion on the lakefront.

Last October the City Council voted to table a decision on spending any money on the building until the state’s budget issues had been resolved.

World famous Lindisfarne Castle to close for 18 months for conservation work – Chronicle Live


One of the most scenic visitor attractions in Northumberland is to close for 18 months for major restoration work.

The closure of the National Trust’s Lindisfarne Castle from November 1 to April 2018 will allow for conservation and protective work costing £3 million to take place.
