Darver Castle set for 38 bedroom expansion | Talk of the Town

Popular local wedding venue Darver Castle is set for an expansion.

The 12th century castle in Readypenny will be expanded over a three year period with 38 additional bedrooms to be built in the existing courtyard.

The bar and civil ceremony room will also be refurbished as part of work announced today

Owners Aidan and Mary Carville, who bought the castle in 1997, say no weddings will be affected by the ongoing work at the venue.
