Amadeus to cater for Belfast City Council’s visitor attractions – FMJ

Amadeus, the catering arm for the NEC Group, has won a five-year contract worth £12 million to run the catering function at four of Belfast’s major visitor attractions – Belfast Castle, Malone House, Belfast Zoo and the Stables coffee shop in Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park.

This is the second major win for Amadeus in Northern Ireland, having been awarded a £16 million contract with Belfast Waterfront and Ulster Hall in April this year

Lord lays siege to Dromoland Castle’s plan to build new water source | Irish Examiner

A disagreement has emerged between Dromoland Castle and Lord Inchiquin, the direct descendant of Brian Boru, over plans to construct a new water source to serve the 180-year-old castle.

Lord Inchiquin Conor O’Brien has lodged an objection with An Bord Pleanála against the proposed construction of three bore wells, an underground storage tank, and a water pump house on the grounds of the historic castle.

Experts have discovered a third structure within the Kukulkan pyramid in eastern Mexico, revealing that it was built like a “Russian nesting doll,” experts said Wednesday. A 10-meter (33-foot) tall pyramid was found within another 20-meter structure, which itself is enveloped by the 30-meter pyramid visible at the Mayan archeological complex known as Chichen Itza in Yucatan state.
