Haunted Hillview Manor – Ellwood City, PA news

Caernarfon castle’s ‘Weeping window’ poppy display opens to the public – Daily Post


A poignant sculpture crafted in honour of Welsh soldiers who died during the First World War has opened at Caernarfon castle.

The giant artwork entitled the ‘Weeping Window’ features a blanket of 6,000 handmade ceramic poppies which cascaded from the ramparts toward the ground below.

Some of the poppies on display in Caernarfon have come from another sculpture which went on show at the Tower of London in 2014 to mark 100 years since the beginning of the Great War.

– Lantern woodland walk to be held at Bodelwyddan Castle

LANTERNS of all colours will light up the night sky in aid of St Kentigern Hospice.

An evening lantern walk for children will be held in the grounds of Bodelwyddan Castle on Sunday, October 23. Little ones will be able to decorate their own creations and can listen out for the sounds of wildlife during a woodland walk.
