The Clark Chateau is the historic home of Charles and Katherine Clark, Charles being the eldest son of Copper King W.A. Clark. Built in 1898-1899, over the years it has housed a number of other families, including most notably U.S. Senator James Murray, his wife Viola, and their children between 1928 and 1945.
