Celtic Manor has acquired a five bedroom, seven reception room Caerleon house that it intends to use as an exclusive executive retreat.
The Mynde, so named because of the mound in the grounds which dates back to the Iron Age with evidence of Roman activity and more recently its use as a Norman Motte and Bailey castle.
And legend has it King Arthur himself could be “sleeping” within the mound, waiting for some supernatural signal to spring back into life with his buried knight… (View original article)
